After defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by three wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday, Delhi Capitals (DC) moved to the top of the points table.

DC reached 139/7 in 19.4 overs, chasing a modest goal of 137, with Shikhar Dhawan top-scoring with a 35-ball 39 and Shimron Hetmyer contributing a crucial 28. CSK had been asked to bat first and had scored 136/5 in their allotted 20 overs. CSK's Ambati Rayudu led the way with an undefeated 55 off 43 balls, while Robin Uthappa chipped in with 19 runs. The play-offs have already been qualified for both CSK and DC.

DC wins by three wickets and moves to the top of the standings!

Hetmyer (28*) bowls Bravo and Hazlewood in two overs and turns the tables in spectacular fashion! From six balls, two fours and a six reduce the equation to six runs. He gets off to a good start with a two, but Bravo then bowls a no ball and two wides in a row. On the third ball, the West Indies all-rounder avenges himself by scalping Axar (5). Rabada, though, shockingly wins it for Delhi with a four on his first ball and 55 runs off 43 balls, with Robin Uthappa contributing 19 runs. The play-offs have already been qualified for both CSK and DC.
