Have you ever tried dancing or working out while cleaning the house or completing your daily chores? Russian Ballet dancers come up with some amazing video clips to keep their fans and audience entertained even after the theatres have closed doors due to Covid-19 lockdown.
Seven dancers from St. Petersburg theatre in Mikhailovsky sweep the floor and clean up the rooms by spinning and lifting! Yeah, the moves used in Ballet dances. They have come together to compile their clips to make it into a short, entertaining video. This 3 minute video set to a tune has gained almost 30K views on Instagram and 550+ comments on Facebook.
The Mikhailovsky Theatre said, “Artists remain true to themselves even in the current unusual conditions. While they do not have the opportunity to interact with spectators at the theatre, the interior of their homes serves as a stage and creative platform for them”. Ivan Vasilyev has been the initiator and the video clip ends like a live show with bouquet, applauses and bows. Other Russian theatres are following the steps to keep the artists and the fans alive and entertained.
