This is definitely a depressing time for all of us. Staying cooped at home for months together and the gloom and chaos created by Covid-19 pandemic. The life has taken a different course altogether. During this time it is important that you keep up with the disrupted professional and private life. There is a high chance that we may lose mental and emotional balance because our future seems highly uncertain.


So we bring to you some ways to keep yourself mentally and physically healthy.

  • Stick to a routine. This will make us feel that we are functioning normally and everything is in our control.


  • Be well aware of the disease. This will make you mentally prepared as well as, you can take proper measures before things can go out of control.


  • Cross check the credibility of the news you hear every day. Do not panic unnecessarily.


  • Be physically active. Workout at home at least for half an hour. Remember, a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.


  • Practice healthy eating and sleeping habits. Your body requires right amount of nutrients and proper amount of sleep.


  • Reduce the intake of alcohol, caffeine and nicotine. They may have an effect on your mental health, especially at a time like this.


  • Keep in touch with your family and friends via social media and apps. They will provide you with moral support if need be.


  • Improve on your skills. Your hobbies will make you happy. Recreate yourself.


  • Analyze yourself. This is the best time to get to know yourself, your likes, and strengths and so on.


Use this time to slow down the pace of your life, running in the rat race. Connect with yourself, connect with nature. Enjoy your own company. Stay positive and have hope. Good luck..
