We lost the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor, the veteran actor of the B-Town and one of the iconic ‘Kapoors’ breathed his last this morning in Mumbai at the age of 67 years. His wife Neetu Kapoor was left mourning by his side at the time of his demise.
The actor who was diagnosed with Cancer in the year 2018, and had been undergoing treatment for cancer...Around September 2019 he had returned to his homeland after being treated successfully for cancer for more than a year at a reputed foreign hospital. On 29th of April, 2020 he was hospitalized at Mumbai’s H.N Reliance Hospital as his condition started declining.
The news of his hospitalization was declared to the media by the actor’s elder brother; Randhir Kapoor on Wednesday. He was hospitalized as he had complained about not feeling well and about having breathing trouble. Reports revealed that he was infected by the novel coronavirus of late and that was the trigger for his declining health. On 30th April 2020, he expired. The news of his demise was confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan through a Twitter post that reads… "Rishi Kapoor... gone... passed away. I am destroyed!"
Several eminent personalities reached out to the micro-blogging platform to pay their homage to the acting legend.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary; a film-maker recalled him describing him as a ‘beautiful, encouraging soul, phenomenal actor’.
