Sonu Sood had been a messiah for people stranded during lockdown; Spicejet honors him by featuring his image on their aircraft.

Actor Sonu Sood on this Saturday became emotional and recalled his fond times with his mom and dad after Spicejet, a reputed airline company honored him by featuring his image on its Boeing 737 aircraft. Through his Twitter handle, the actor made sure to show his gratitude.
The country’s national carrier featured the photo of Sonu Sood on its aircraft and also saluted the actor with lots of respect for the efforts made by him during the pandemic-induced lockdown. He was considered no less than a hero for playing an active role in successfully transporting the thousands of migrants who were stuck up safely to their native villages at the times of the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Through his humane deeds, the actor has definitely earned a special place in the hearts of people.
Sharing that video, Spicejet airlines company wrote, “The phenomenally-talented Sonu Sood has been a messiah to lakhs of Indians during the pandemic, helping them reunite with their loved ones, feed their families, and more.”
In the midst of the pandemic-triggered lockdown, Airlines Company SpiceJet and actor Sonu Sood had joined together in order to repatriate the innumerable stranded Indians, including the many students stranded in the foreign lands.
"Remember coming from Moga to Mumbai on an unreserved ticket. Thank you everyone for all the love. Miss my parents more." Actor Kajal Aggarwal took to Twitter and hailed Sonu. Her post read, "Wow Sonu! This is just amazing. Big salute to all the fabulous work you have done and continue to do. #proudfriend," Sonu tweeted in response to the adorable gesture of the airlines.
On Instagram, the actor shared a video showing how Spicejet had completed this project. "Reminds me of my journey from Moga to Mumbai on an unreserved ticket. Miss my parents more today. Thank you @spicejetairlines for this honor. #humbled," wrote Sood for the caption of the video. Actors like Ridhima Pandit and Neha Dhupia also praised Sonu.
Saroj Sood, Sonu’s mom passed away in the year 2007. In 2020, on the death anniversary of his mother, he shared a photo of his mom along with the caption, "13years ago on the same day, 13th October.. when life slipped from my hands."
On the birthday of his mom, he shared a photo from his childhood where we can see him accompanying his mom. He wrote while posting the photo, "Happy birthday Maa...just keep guiding me always the way you have been doing all my life. Wish I could give you a tight hug and tell you how much I love you. but I am sure you must be missing us where ever you are. Life will never be the same but be my guiding angel always till I see you again maa. Miss you".
Sonu’s best roles as an actor in movies such as Happy New Year, Dabangg, R…Rajkumar, Jodhaa Akbar, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Yuva, Shootout at Wadala, and Simmba are worth a mention.
