Losing weight is a key concern for many these days as obesity has taken the shape of a global pandemic. To lose weight drastically, often people take to crash diets with strict calorie-cutting formulas. They eat less and fight hunger silently. Also, in their pursuit to lose weight most people ditch their favorite dishes and consume foods that they don’t like much. They try to consume those foods just for the sake of consumption. NmamiAgarwal, a famed nutritionist gives her answers to all the relevant queries. She attempts to debunk myths and clear misconceptions related to weight loss via Instagram. Apart from this, she also discusses the 80/20 weight loss rule. Her post caption reads,” 80/20 rule to achieve your health goals in a more sustainable way!”

 

She starts the video with assurance. She assures that one needs to understand that weight loss takes time. The eating patterns too are likely to change over time.

 

She then talks about the 80/20 rule. She states that if one eats 80 percent food that’s healthy and weight-loss friendly and the remaining 20 percent if one indulges, one can still reach his or her health goals.

 

“If you want to eat the food you enjoy eating, eat it. Do not force yourself into eating greens just for the sake of having it,” Nmami says. She further says,” Sometimes it is okay to indulge and go easy on yourself.”

She states that it is very important that one indulges in a guilt-free manner.
