Apple may launch the MacBook Pro with M1X processor sometime during the fall.

Tuesday, 29th June 2021

Since the beginning of this year, Apple's MacBook Pro this year has attracted much attention. Some previous rumors suggest that it will be released at WWDC earlier this month, but Apple believes that the new MacBook Pro M1X is not yet ready for release, although it may hint at a release plan. Now, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that MacBook Pro is expected to be released this year, and the release time maybe sometime in the fall, that is, between October and November.

Gurman continues to suggest that the new MacBook Pro will run a better version of the M1 chipset, which may be called M1X. Therefore, MacBook Pro will be the first Mac product to use the new chipset. This year's MacBook Pro may also bring back the HDMI port and SD card slot, which the creators have been asking for for a long time. Apple's MagSafe magnetic charging technology, which previously gave up support for USBC charging, is also likely to return to MacBook Pro. For these things, the 2021 MacBook Pro is very important.

Although cannot be released during WWDC, Gurman hopes that Apple will eventually release a new MacBook Pro later this year. And there is no specific release time frame, because according to Gurman, Apple may launch the MacBook Pro week next year. If this does not happen, the summer release is still possible, as the summer will not end until mid-September. September is also the time for Apple to launch a new flagship iPhone and start rolling out new versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Gurman's prediction for the MacBook Pro closely followed what promoter Dylan said. According to the whistleblower, the MacBook Pro could be released in late October or early November. This slightly extended the time frame suggested by Gurman. Other rumors about the MacBook Pro are likely to prove to be true, because not only Bloomberg’s Gullman, but Dylan also said the same to them.

The M1X processor that Apple accidentally confirmed through the meta tag in the WWDC YouTube video will be faster than the current Arm processor. MacBook Pro is likely to be equipped with eight performance cores and two high-efficiency cores. According to Bloomberg News, MacBook Pro will have two versions of the chip, called Jade CChop and Jade CDie. The two variants will share the number of performance and efficiency cores but differ in GPU specifications. The former will have 16 graphics cores, while the latter may have 32 cores.

This year's MacBook Pro may be important not only to Apple, but also to many Mac users who are waiting for the update, and the waiting time will be longer.
