Overview of the five highest mountains in India.

India is a beautiful country with the highest mountains in the world - the Great Himalayas! This means that the country also has some of the highest peaks in the world. From Kanchenjunga to Nanda Devi, the country is full of tall and majestic mountains.
Kangchenjunga Peak, also known as the Five Snow Treasures, is located 8586 meters above sea level. The Tamur River Mountains are located between India and Nepal. It is the highest peak in India and the third highest peak in the world.
Nanda Devi, located in Garhwal, Chamorli District, Uttarakhand, is the second-highest peak in India and the second highest in the world. Nanda Devi National Park, located near the top of the mountain, is one of the best high-altitude parks in the country.

Kamet is the third highest peak in India and the second highest peak in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand after Nanda Devi. Due to its geographical location close to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the mountain peaks are remote. It is not as easy to reach as some famous peaks in the Himalayas.
Saltoro Kangri, 7742 m above sea level, is the highest peak of the Saltoro Mountains and part of the Karakoram Mountains. It is located near the Siachen Glacier, which is one of the longest glaciers in the world. Saltoro Kangri is also the 31st highest peak in the world.
The mountain range is located in Ladakh and is the 35th highest mountain in the world. This is a difficult mountain to climb. There have been several accidents during the summit mission in the past.
