 What is a balanced diet?

 According to the expert, a balanced diet is a diet that covers all the nutritional needs of a person.“People need a certain amount of calories and nutrients to stay healthy. A balanced diet provides all the nutrients a person needs without exceeding the recommended daily calorie intake, ”he said.

How does a balanced meal help?

Eating healthy increases energy levels, improves the way your body works, boosts your immune system and prevents weight gain, Bohra said. It will also help you feel energized, control your weight and combat stress, he added.

“A balanced meal is a snapshot of a diet that includes three main food groups. As you can see from the serving table above, the balance is a quarter of a protein, a quarter of a carbohydrate and half a vegetable, ”he said.
